RADON MITIGATION

What Is Radon Mitigation?

Radon mitigation is the process of reducing radon levels in your home by controlling how the gas enters and moves through your space.

Instead of trying to “seal everything,” the goal is to safely redirect radon before it can accumulate indoors.

Done properly, mitigation is highly effective—and often reduces levels by 80–90% or more.

How It Works

Most homes are treated using a system called sub-slab depressurization.

Here’s the idea:

  • Radon rises from the soil beneath your home
  • A specialized pipe and fan system draws the gas from below the foundation
  • The gas is safely vented outside, above your roofline

This prevents radon from ever entering your living space.

Custom to Your Home

No two homes are exactly the same—and your mitigation system shouldn’t be either.

We assess:

  • Foundation type (slab, crawl space, basement)
  • Airflow patterns
  • Entry points for radon
  • Structural layout

From there, we design a system that’s both effective and as discreet as possible.

What to Expect During Installation

  • Clean, professional work
  • Minimal disruption to your home
  • Most systems installed in a single day
  • Clear explanation of how everything works

We treat your home like it’s our own—no shortcuts, no mess left behind.

After Installation

Once your system is in place:

  • Radon levels begin dropping immediately
  • Follow-up testing confirms effectiveness
  • The system runs continuously with very low energy use

You’ll have long-term protection with minimal maintenance.

Will It Affect My Home?

Noise: Systems are designed to be quiet—similar to a bathroom fan or less.

Appearance: Piping is placed as discreetly as possible (often outside or in utility areas).

Energy Use: Efficient and low-cost to operate.

Most homeowners forget it’s even there—which is exactly the point.
